Mrs. Annie Louise Reeves was born July 26, 1927 in Hartselle, AL, to  Dora Humphrey and Mackie Neil confessed her faith in God at an early age and joined Hartselle  Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her illness.

Annie was a graduate of Morgan County High School. She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1946 to ArWillie Reeves and to this union two children were born, Don Juan and Lisa.

After raising her children and grandchildren she continued her life love working with children at the Boys and Girls Club and the Hartselle School System at F.E. Burleson. Annie served as one of the founders of the Hartselle City Task Force, receiving the J. C. Penny Golden Rule award in 2000.

On February 16, 2017, Annie was called to be in the presence of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, and granddaughter, Kasey M. Reeves.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Lisa Troupe (Wil) of Birmingham, AL; three granddaughters, Jessica Troupe of Hartselle, AL, Dionne Grubbs (Jerry) of Huntsville, AL  and Jasmine Troupe of Huntsville, AL; one step-granddaughter, Anjie Wynn of Chattanooga, TN; one grandson, Mar’Quest Troupe (Minesha) of Hartselle, AL; one step-grandson, Marlon Trone; one great-grandson, Jordan Reeves (Nikki) of Huntsville, AL; five great-granddaughters,  Kasey D., Aaliyah, Khloe, Mariah, and Kennedy; two step-grandchildren, Sydney and Morgan; a loving nephew, Sherman (Beverly) of Michigan; a devoted cousin, William Bynum of Hartselle, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
