Annie Laurie Harrell, age 87, of the Steep Hollow Community, Poplarville, MS, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. Because of the present world situation, and concern for the family and friend’s safety, there will be no services. Family and friends are welcome to visit the gravesite at their discretion at a later date.Annie Laurie was a native of Steep Hollow Community, Poplarville, MS, homemaker, hair dresser and a member of Steep Hollow Baptist Church, Poplarville, MS. She will be missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by her parents, Evan Williams and Vivian Shaw Williams; her husband, Clifton “C.J.” James Harrell; her brothers and sister in laws, Hershel (Betty) Williams and Foy (Opal) Williams; her sister, Joanne Parish (Frank) Townsend; 3 sister in laws, Wilma Hariel Smith, Edith Hariel Denius, and Ruth Hariel Smith; and her brother in law, Vernon to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Harrell Holden; 2 granddaughters, Breanne Holden and husband, Collin Hodges, and Julie Holden and husband, Nick Hendricks; her granddaughter, Baby Hodges (daughter of Breanne and Collin) arriving in May; her brother, Hascal (Willie Faye) Williams; her sister in law, Frances Strahan; and numerous nieces and nephews..mcdonaldfh.
