Mrs. Annie Laura Hawkins of Tampa, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Mrs. Hawkins was born on June 18, 1935, in Troy, Alabama to General Grant and Versie Mae Graham Caldwell. She was a resident of Tampa for 62 years. She was an employee of Wright’s Gourmet and retired from Lincoln Properties.
Mrs. Hawkins was a loving and devoted mother to her five biological children, five stepchildren and granddaughter that she raised as her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, General Grant, and Versie Mae Graham Caldwell; husbands, Ollie Mills and Charlie Hawkins; brothers, Willie C. Caldwell, Sr., and James Caldwell; sisters, Louise Caldwell, Juanita Baldwin, and Emma Lou Caldwell; stepsons, Angel Mills and Ronnie Mills and nephew, Arthur Hale.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful and loving memories with her daughters, Emma Harmon (Rome) and Sabrina Mills; sons, Elijah Key, Jr., Robert Key and Ellis Mills; devoted and faithful granddaughter, Mishondra Key, grandchildren, Meosha Brown and Keenan Brown; stepchildren, Mary Mills, Donnie Mills and Sandra Walker; great grandchildren, Dontarius Spigner, Brandon Ferguson, Jahmyla Dixon, Jahzara Dixon, Keevon Brown and Keelan Brown; sister, Mardine Caldwell Hale; nieces, Atlay Hale and Barbara Hale and a host of great-great grandchildren, other family members and devoted friends.
