Annie J. Armstead Schmid, 95, formerly of New Haven, passed away Oct 5, 2012 in Quincy Nursing Home, Quincy, PA. Mrs Schmid was born in Cheshire on Oct 2, 1917, daughter of the late William M. and Martha Strosnick Armstead. She is survived by a son, retired New Haven Firefighter James C. (Sharon) Baker, formerly of East Haven; a daughter, Ann Simler of Ansonia; 7 grandchildren, James, Kimberly, Ryan, David, Debbie, Robert & Carolyn; 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, William, Herbert and Theodore Armstead.
