Annie Agnes Morley Franko, 97, of Alexandria, VA., beloved wife of the late Richard T. Franko of Milford, CT., passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 8, 2015. Mrs. Franko was a long-time resident of Milford, CT. The last few years she had lived in Alexandria to be near family members. She was born May 26, 1917, in County Mayo, Ireland and was the daughter of the late James and Katherine O’Gara Morley of Tavrane, County Mayo, Ireland. She was predeceased by her five siblings: Bea Williams, Kate Byrne, and James, John, and Michael Patrick Morley, who lived in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and two grandsons, Dennis Eamon Franko, Jr., and Sean O’Boyle Franko, of Alexandria.
Immediate survivors include son Richard P. (wife Denise Jackson) of Scottsdale, AZ., Dennis E. (wife Libby O’Boyle Franko) of Alexandria; three living grandchildren, Erica Franko and Brendon Franko of Phoenix, AZ., and Hart Franko of Washington, DC.; four great grandchildren, Solis M. Coker, Jadon Franko, and Brylie Sue Franko of Phoenix and Declan Pierce Franko of Alexandria. In addition to her late husband’s family and friends in Connecticut, Mrs. Franko has a large extended family of nieces and nephews in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
