Ms. Lee peacefully passed away at her residence. She was an educator and retired after forty years in education.

Annie Catherine Hampton was born on March 25, 1942 in Eutaw, Alabama to Mamie Barnes Hampton and Robert Hampton. She was also the beloved step-daughter of the late Margie Hampton.
Annie Catherine was a great storyteller with a terrific sense of humor, and awesome sense of style. She dearly loved her family. When she first relocated to San Diego she took her nieces shopping for sandals, to the local Dude Ranch in National City where they enjoyed horseback riding each summer, and numerous trips to the beach and Mt. Laguna.
Once in San Diego, Annie Catherine united with Phillips Temple C.M.E.
On Monday, October 7, 2013 Annie Catherine peacefully departed this life to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sisters Elizabeth Hampton-Boone of San Diego and Ecleave Hampton-Jackson (Harvey) of Huntsville, AL; nieces Ricci Boone of San Diego, LeJeune Terrie Boone of Buckeye, AZ, Mira Poole of Huntsville, AL and Myrna Joinae Poole of Huntsville, AL.; a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, family and close friends.
