Annie Culotta Floyd, of Fort Walton Beach, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2014, at 103 years of age. She was born in La Ceiba, Honduras on January 12, 1911. Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Henry A. Floyd, of Albany, GA; father, Joseph C. Culotta; mother, Florence Helen Warren; three sisters; twin brothers; and
granddaughter, Cynthia Brooks Meadows. She is survived by two daughters: Sara Brooks Clemons (Dr. Roy Clemons) of Fort Walton Beach and Patricia Floyd Hazen (Rev. Cecil Hazen) of Macon, GA., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Annie, who many called Me-Maw, loved taking care of her family and doing for others. She loved gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She created hundreds of priceless heirlooms.
We will all miss Me-Maw and are all rejoicing that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
