Mary Annette Powell Sale, 84, of Clermont, GA, (September 29, 1937 – April 27, 2022) was born to Raleigh Foy Powell and Rose Jordan Powell in Atlanta, GA. Annette graduated fromNorth Fulton High School and attended Hollins College, University of Colorado, and the University of Alabama, where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. After graduation, she was employed as a social worker and placed children for adoption.
People were drawn to Annette’s selfless, unconditional love. She never met a stranger and was well known for genuinelycaring about others and doing what she could to help people in need.
Annette was preceded in death by her brothers, Raleigh Foy Powell, Jr.
