Annette Marie Shikany Miller of Atlanta, GA died Thurday at home after a lengthy, hard fought battle with cancer. Annette s generosity and boundless love touched her family and friends throughout her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dorothy Jefferson Shikany and Joseph Michael Shikany, Jr., grandparents, Catherine Hathoot Shikany and Joseph Michael Shikany, Sr., and precious niece, Tyler Ivey Rice. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Edward Miller, her sisters, Lorie Shikany Rice (Clyde), Lisa Shikany Estrada, all of Atlanta, GA and Patricia Paddy Shikany Joseph, of Birmingham, AL. Annette s children , the nieces and nephews whom she adored, will cherish her selfless love and protection over them all always: Stephanie Joseph Shunnara (Joey), Audrey Joseph Flemming (Michael), Michael Stephen Joseph of Birmingham, AL. and Kelsy Elizabeth Rice, Kayla Rose Estrada, and Hayden Francis Estrada of Atlanta, GA. She leaves behind her treasured poodle, Raven , who loved her and remained at her side during her extended illness.
