On Sunday, June 19, 2022 our beloved Annette gained her wings and started her journey with the Lord. She passed away at the age of 53 at Capital Region Medical Center. Annette was born on August 19, 1968 to Peggie J. Barner and Ronald I. Day, who preceded in death.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She graduated from Parkdale High School in 1986 and studied at Strayer University and went on to pursue her career in the Federal Government (WRNMMC) in Washington, DC. After sometime, she began her career at the US Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs and ending in the Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance in Washington, DC for a total 30 yrs.  in the Federal Government.

Annette was an 18 year cancer survivor until November of 2021.  She was very strong willed and precise about everything she did and always willing to help anyone she could. She enjoyed traveling the world, going to concerts (her favorite group was Gladys Knight and the Pips) and watching her favorite reality TV shows. She always made it a point to come and take her Mom out to breakfast dates, weekend shopping, and she setting up dates to hang out with her girlfriends.
