Annette M. Long, 55, of Williamsport, passed to rest on Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center after a long struggle with an illness, surrounded by her family.
Net graduated from Williamsport High School in 1974 and Penn College in 1988. She devoted most of her life to helping others. She worked at Hope Enterprises at resident housing and the Children’s Development Center. She often brought clients home for the holidays.
Net was a loving daughter, a devoted sister, a caring aunt, a loving companion and to so many a friend.
Born November 6, 1956 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Orville and Valaria Federowicz Long.
Surviving are her close companion, Harry J. Derr; her mother, Valaria Long of Williamsport; brothers, Harold L. Long and Thomas E. Long, both of Williamsport, Franklin P. Long of New Castle and Michael J. (Cheryl) Long of Jersey Shore; a sister, Catherine L. (Steve) Spotts of Williamsport and many nieces and nephews.
Net was predeceased by her father, Orville F. Long and a sister, Theresa Workman.
