Annette J. Kellum the daughter of Retha Kellum and the late Robert J. Jackson was born on February 23, 1959 in Easton, Maryland.  She received her education in Talbot County Public Schools.  She departed this life on January 19, 2017 at the Talbot Hospice in Easton, Maryland at the age of 57.

She was employed in housekeeping for over 25 years at the Days Inn and later at Econo Lodge in Easton.

In October 2009 Annette accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at Greater Chief Cornerstone Temple Church under the Leadership of Bishop Keith Cornish and was baptized in Jesus Name.  Annette spent her time reading the Word of God and assembling in fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Annette was known to most as being a person of few words; however, her presence leaves a tremendous loss for those who knew her best.  

Annette was a loving and kind hearted mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be greatly missed by her children and son-in-law who she loved unconditionally LaShonda Smith (Marvin Jr) of Glen Burnie, MD and Vincent Nixon Jr. of Essex, MD.  She will also be greatly missed by her mother Retha Kellum to whom she devoted her time and care unselfishly.

Annette also leaves to mourn two sisters, Rosemary Williams of Cambridge, MD and Pamela DeShields of Blackwood, NJ; three brothers Arthur L Kellum of Easton, MD, Dennis E Kellum of Unionville, MD and Wayman R Kellum of Cambridge, MD. She is also survived by five nieces Shanika Harmon, LaKita Kellum, Shaquanta Williams, Keondra Kellum and Nytia Molock; eight nephews Robert L Stanford, Everett DeShields, Dennis Kellum Jr, Denzel Kellum, Davion and Davon Kellum, Wayman Kellum Jr, and Javonte’ Kellum; four great nieces and one great nephew and a host of cousins. In addition to her father she was proceeded in death by two brothers Robert J Kellum and Robert J Stanford.
