Annette Gray, 71, of Silver Lake, IN formerly of Huntington, IN passed away peacefully in her home at 1:57 p.m. Friday October 5, 2012. Mrs. Gray was born April 21, 1941 in Port Leyden, NY to Howard Stanley and Eleanor Marie Barber. Her parents preceded her in death.
Annette married Dennis Gray on June 24, 1967. He survives. She was a graduate of Port Leyden High School, Class of 1959. She also attended Mohawk Community College for two years in Utica, NY. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Mrs. Gray worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk for Erie Department Store for 20 years and for 23 years at Pathfinders Services. Annette, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and friend, enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: One son: Christopher (Janet) Gray, Warsaw, IN; One daughter: Angela (Jed) Stout, Markle, IN. One brother: Daniel (Joy) Barber, Tennessee; Three sisters: Charlotte VanZandt, Lowville, NY., Patricia Fox, Greig, NY, and Catherine (Kent) Heaton, Grass Valley, CA. Six grandchildren: Rachel (Zach) Long, Memphis, TN, Samantha (Wayne) Tackett, Huntington, IN, Michael and Sydney Wechsler, Markle, IN and twins: Derek and Dylan Gray, Warsaw, IN. Her beloved Siberian husky, Tasha and also her special friends: John and Renee Bender.
