Annette Elaine Lewis, 58, of St. Augustine and formerly of Palatka, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Palatka and had lived in St. Augustine for the past 30 years. Annette was a 1980 graduate of Palatka High School and attended the Vo Tech School in St. Augustine. She had worked as an LPN at various nursing homes throughout St. Johns County for more than 20 years and most recently worked as a nurse for special needs children for St. Johns County Public School System. In her leisure time, Annette enjoyed the beach, shopping, and her “fur babies.”
She is preceded in death by her parents David and Patsy Lewis and her brother, Justin Lewis.
She is survived by her sisters, Ethel Lewis of Zephyrhills, Vicki Cooper (Mike) of San Mateo and Lucy Bishop (Ron) of East Palatka, nieces and nephews, Michael Cooper, Crystal Cooper, James Cooper, Halee Bishop, and Jordan Bishop, great-nephews, Justin and Riley Cooper, best friend, Darryl Hicks as well as numerous special friends and neighbors.
