Annelise Mary “Anna” Baker, 16, Anderson, passed away June 22, 2011, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born on August 12, 1994, in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson all of her life.
Anna attended Liberty Christian School and Indiana School for the Blind. She was a Sophomore in high school. She was a member of East Side Church of God in Anderson and a member of the Henry County Hot Shot Power Soccer team. She loved to read; loved dogs; enjoyed time at Wawasee on her Boston Whaler and drove her Papa’s 1964 convertible Lincoln Continental.
She is survived by her parents, Michael L. & Katherine “Katie” Williams Baker; two brothers, M. Scott Baker of Anderson and Alec P. Baker of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Dr. V.R. “Dick” & Marilyn Williams of Winchester; paternal grandmother, Barbara Neuman of Anderson; several aunts & uncles and several cousins. Special thanks to I.U. Health North Pediatric Staff; I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospice team; Dr. Bruce Cohen; and special thanks to Dr. Kathleen Miller of Fishers Pediatrics and Valerie E. Petry.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Philip H. Baker.
