Anne Roark, 81, of 343 Eastern St., New Haven died Jan. 2, 2010 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. She was the widow of James E. Roark Sr. and was a former resident of 390 Belden Road, Hamden. Mrs. Roark was born in Astoria, Queens, New York on March 28, 1928, daughter of the late John and Georgia Maroukas Rougas. She worked as a waitress at Clark’s Dairy in New Haven prior to retirement. She is survived by a son, James E. Roark Jr. of New Haven; two daughters, Lynn Salvia of Denver, CO. and Eileen Roark of Cromwell, CT.; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Rougas.
