ANNE SYKES MESITE, age 74, of Nokesville, VA died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at Annaburg Manor, Manassas, VA. She attended Hollins College, Yale University and taught at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, Dayton, VA. Mrs. Mesite was a music teacher in Smithfield Public Schools and Prince William County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Mesite, Jr. who died April 11, 2001. She is survived by her son, Robert S. Mesite, of Springfield, VA. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, March 11, 2002 at Price Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA where a prayer service will be said 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2002. Interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Northern VA, Price William Clinical Office, 9540 Center St., Suite 300, Manassas, VA 20110 in memory of Anne Sykes Mesite.
