Anne Meriwether, 98, of Moberly, formerly of St. Louis, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was born April 5, 1921 in Eolia, MO to William Pollard and Ada Florane (Danley) Meriwether.

Anne retired from Con-Agra foods in St. Louis, MO after 35+ years of service as Human Resources Director.

Survivors include her niece, Sally Daly Tucker and husband Mike of Columbia, cousins; Vivie and Jim Harris of Wentzville, Jay Miller (Bev Hicks) of Moberly, Stacey Harris and Tim McCandless of St, Louis, Jase and Kirstin Harris of Vermont and Jared Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA,  other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy Meriwether-Daly and Maurine Meriwether, a brother, Bill Meriwether, a brother-in-law, Bill Daly and sisters-in-law, Rita Daly and Veronica Daly.

Anne was a volunteer at St. John’s Hospital for 25 years. She was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals or Mizzou football, which she had season tickets for both for over 30 years. Anne even played golf in St. Louis on two separate leagues for 25 years. She also loved to travel with her family.
