Anne Marie (Smith) Persing, 86, of Rocky Hill and formerly of Hebron, passed away Monday morning, Dec. 1, 2014 at Hartford Hospital.
Born September 22, 1928 in Corning, NY, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Genevieve (Hart) Smith. Most of her childhood was spent in Geneva, NY where she graduated from De Sales High School. She went on to Hobart and William Smith College, graduating in 1950, where she was also awarded Phi Beta Kappa for her work.
