Anne Marie Christensen, 84, of Dunnellon, FL, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Monday, June 27, 2022 surrounded by her children. She was born on March 13, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa to Paul and Trace Carman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 46 years, David R. Christensen who died on September 8, 2004.
She is survived by her brother John Carman and 5 children, Dirk Christensen (Ann), Dana Christensen, Erik Christensen, Evan Christensen (Jennifer), and Maria Dyer (Jerry); 6 grandchildren, Daniel Christensen, Casey Christensen, Ashly Maynard, Mitchell Christensen, Emma Christensen, and Katie Christensen; and 4 great grandchildren Dylan Christensen, Lylah Christensen, Aurora Christensen, and Carson Christensen.
Anne attended Michigan State University and during her time there she met David. They married on March 8, 1958 and started their family while living in Michigan. In 1976, the family moved to Dunnellon, Florida, to start a new adventure of living on a cattle ranch. Anne was a homemaker who had many hobbies and interests throughout her life. She bred and showed German Shepard dogs and was an avid gardener. She loved to read, play her organ and play golf with her many friends in the ladies league. She once had the distinction of scoring a hole in one on hole #4 at Rainbow Springs Country Club. Anne always enjoyed her quiet time sitting on her porch doing her crossword puzzles and jumbles while having her coffee and watching the birds. During their marriage, she and David enjoyed traveling the world and playing golf together. Anne was a faithful member of St.
