Anne M. Ceresa, 63, of Prospect Heights, formerly of Peru, died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006, of ovarian cancer, at the home of a daughter Christine Sampson at 913 Charles Place, Peru, following a 19 month illness.
Mrs. Ceresa was born April 25, 1943 in Dixon to Emil and Theresa (Harmon) Magnafici. She was a graduate of St. Marys Hospital, LaSalle, School of Nursing and was a Graduated Licensed Nurse and homemaker. She married LeRoy Ceresa August 11, 1962 in St. Josephs Church, Peru. She was a member of St. James Church, Arlington Heights.
Surviving are her husband LeRoy Ceresa of Prospect Heights, 6 children: Christine (Kevin) Sampson of Peru, Dr. Lee (Kim) Ceresa of Peru, Andrew Ceresa of Peru, Suzanne (Jim) Siebert of Utica, Kathleen (Jeff) Ellis of LaSalle, and Anthony (Carrie) Ceresa of Chicago, 10 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Tom (Gae) Magnafici of Dresser, Wisconsin, and Henry Magnafici of Dixon, 2 sisters: Judy Ottinger of Minocqua, Wisconsin, and Sue (Tom) Passini of Dalzell, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister in infancy and 5 brothers.
