     Anne Lamberson Fisher, 63 (also known as Mimi by her grandsons) passed away after a long illness on August 2nd at the Bethany House in Auburn, Alabama. Mrs. Fisher was a resident of Lanett, Alabama.

     She was preceded in death by her parents James William Lamberson and Bettie Bowling Lamberson of Auburn, Alabama and is survived by her husband Luther Foy Fisher III, son William Foy Fisher, daughter Leslie Anne Fisher, daughter-in-law, Alicia Nash Fisher, grandson Elliott James Fisher, grandson Elijah Foy Fisher; mother-in-law, Doris Bowman Fisher, sister-in-law, Dottie McFall, niece, Katherine Robles, niece, Courtney Van Fossen, and nephew, Brad McFall.

     She is a 1972 graduate of Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Anne was an exceptional stockbroker who began her career with Edgar Norris and Company in Greenville, South Carolina before being promoted to Vice President of Investments for Interstate Johnson Lane/Wachovia Securities in LaGrange, Georgia. She retired from Synovus Securities in 2011 but continued to share her wise financial investment strategies with two independent investment groups: ProfitMakers and Dollars and Sense for years after her retirement.

     Anne was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and a loving and proud Mimi. Anne was an outstanding tennis player and golfer, a life-long sports enthusiast, and a die-hard Auburn Tiger. She loved animals and enjoyed playing bridge. She was a great dancer and enjoyed music of all kinds but was particularly fond of beach music.

     Anne was a woman of integrity and class with a wonderful personality and great sense of humor as evidenced by her extensive circle of loving and loyal friends.

     The family would like to extend their appreciation to everyone at The Bethany House for their love and excellent care, as well as their many friends who have been so supportive during this difficult time.
