Anne L. Rodick, 93, of Bloomington, IN, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Gentry Park Assisted Living. Born February 10, 1926 in Crider, KY she was the daughter of the late Alvin Adolphus and Velma (Stone) Jones.
Anne was a 1943 graduate of Scott High School in Toledo, OH, 1943 graduate of Dickinson Secretarial School in Toledo, OH, 1983 graduate of Indiana University with a B.A. in the College of Arts & Sciences, she received a Certification in Public Management from the Indiana University School of Public Affairs in 1986 and Master of Arts from Indiana University in 1990.
Anne was a member of the National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century, Palatines to America, National Society of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Bloomington Chapter, she was Commissioned a Kentucky Colonel in 1992 and member of First Families of Kentucky, Germana First Families, Member of Caldwell County Historical Society, Germana Foundation, Kentucky Historical Society, Louisville Genealogy Society and Bloomington Genealogy Society. She also received the Governor’s Award in the Volunteer Category for Outstanding Contributions to the Preservation of Indiana’s Historic Records in 2008, and the Harvey Harsh Award Recipient in 2001.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Rodger Rodick; 3 daughters, Leslie Morgan of Clear Lake, Iowa and her children, Aaron (Jameka) Jones of Inman, SC and Sean Morgan (Lisa Tibey) of Ventura, Iowa, Pamela Eversole of Madison, IN and her children, Wade Smith (Pacia Carpenter) of Fort Wayne, IN and Gavin (Niki Royal-Smith) Smith of Indianapolis, and Tracy Bruce of Austell, GA and her children, Justin Adams of Austell, GA and Nick Adams (Sarah Parker) of Atlanta, GA; and sister Gladys Ruth (Jones) Brown of Ft. Meyer, FL. Also surviving are 9 great grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Donald R. Jones; sister, Carol L. (Jones) Mack, and two great grandchildren.
