Anne J. Woodsum, 91, of Greensburg, died on February 24, 2018 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital,surrounded by her children, following a brief illness. She was born in Greensburg on April 6, 1926, a daughter of the late John McKinley Johnston and Goldie Snedden Johnston. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Greensburg where she was once active in the church choir and hand bell choir. Prior to retirement, she was a preschool teacher, and one of the first teachers at the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg Preschool. Anne enjoyed listening to The Metropolitan Opera every Saturday, reading, playing bridge and spending summers in Maine with her family. She was a former member of the SILU group of the Norvelt Golf Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert C. Woodsum in 2012 and her brother Jack Johnston. Anne is survived by her children Barbara Miller (Ronald), John Gillan, and Andrea Stillwell (David); her step-children, Harvey Woodsum (Nancy), Valerie Dawson (Richard) and Ralph Woodsum; 3 grandchildren, Gregory Miller (Fawn), Stephanie Miller, and Michael Miller; 2 great-grandsons, Magnus and Rowan Miller; 4 step-grandchildren, Erika Mazuzan(Kirk), Ryan Dawson(Kelsey), Nathan Woodsum and Christopher Woodsum; 1 step- great grandson, Lukas Mazuzan.
