Anne Cappuccilli Nigro, 85

Poestenkill Anne Cappuccilli Nigro, 85, of Algonquin Estates, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy after a long illness.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Michael Cappuccilli and Angela (Pototo) Cappuccilli and wife for 58 years of John F. Nigro.

She was raised in Brooklyn and resided in Laconia, NH, Millbrook, NY and North Greenbush prior to moving to Poestenkill 38 years ago and was a graduate of Girls Commercial High School in Brooklyn.

Mrs. Nigro was a homemaker and many years ago worked at Thomas Publishing in New York City and Scott-Williams Textile in Laconia, NH.

She was a member of the Poestenkill Senior Citizens and a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill.

Survivors in addition to her husband include four sons, John Michael Nigro of Pass Christian, MS, Richard A. Nigro (Christine) of Gloversville, Joseph J. Nigro of Averill Park and 2nd Petty Officer Thomas A. Nigro, USN in Kuwait; , two sisters, Corinne Manzi and Rita Sartiano both of Brooklyn; two grandsons, Michael Nigro of NC and Bryan Nigro of Gloversville and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marian DiGioia.
