On, January 8, 2018, AnnaLou Files, 84, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. AnnaLou was born on April 13, 1933, in Ferndale, to the late Florence and Thomas Knight. She was a member of the Sun Valley Ladies Auxiliary, Suvira Homeowners Association, several Sun Valley bowling leagues at Sandusky’s Riviera Bowl in which she was secretary of those leagues, Marley Little League concession stands, and scorekeeper for her husband and son’s bowling leagues. Throughout the years, AnnaLou was a babysitter for over 150 neighborhood children. AnnaLou loved bowling and football, and more football, and in her younger years, she enjoyed traveling.
AnnaLou was predeceased by her devoted husband of 42 years, Carl W. Files, Sr., and her brother, Tommy Knight. She is survived by her loving children, Gloria Jean Morris and her husband Dennis, and Carl W. Files, Jr. and his wife Angie; her beloved grandchildren, Terri Joy Poe and her husband Chris, Keith Morris and his wife Kristine, Carl Files III and his wife Naomi, Melissa Fitzcharles and her husband James, Darlene Joy and John Settino; her cherished great-grandchildren, Maximus, Kyler, Anna, Ariel, Carl IV, Emma, Jane, Jayden, Alice, and one on the way; and her dear sisters, Helen Davis, Florence Knight, and Jean Settino, and sister-in-law, Toni Knight.
