Annabelle Sitts passed away surrounded by her children on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the Nampa Care Center following an illness.

Annabelle was born January 8, 1934, in Reading, Nebraska to William Holsclaw and Belle From.  She moved to Idaho with her family as a young child.  Annabelle married the love of her life, “Buck” Carol Sitts on March 23, 1952 at Winnemucca, Nevada.  Annabelle and Buck moved to Parma where they raised their two children and continued  to live until Buck’s death in 2009.  Annabelle lived her final two years at a very caring Nampa Care Center.

Annabelle worked part-time as a checker and meat wrapper in Parma.  She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting, and fishing.  Annabelle loved being around her grandchildren.  She spent many hours at the Parma School watching her son and grandsons playing sports.

Annabelle leaves behind, daughter, Carrol Lynn, and husband, Bill Boatman; son, Larry Sitts, and wife, Diana; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister,  Mae (Ben) Colley, Fruitland; brothers John (Myrna) Holsclaw, Mountain Home, Bill (Marge) Holsclaw, Sublimity, Oregon, Robert (Judy) Holsclaw, Boise, ID, Virgil (Sheila) Holsclaw,Wilder, ID; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Buck, parents, two brothers, Edward and Frances Holsclaw, and great grandson, Castin Michale Sitts.
