Anna Zimmer Meynier entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the age of 101. Beloved wife of the late Albert H. Meynier Sr. Loving mother of Patricia M. Bollinger (Joseph), Albert H. Meynier Jr. (Marsha) and Janet M. Jovanovich (Kim). Beloved grandmother of Debra B. Clement (Devin), Brenda B. Denny (Andy), Michael J. Bollinger (Tammy), Michele M. Botello (Robert), Michael A. Meynier, Brett M. Jovanovich (Haley), Eric D. Jovanovich (Heather) and Mark D. Jovanovich (Lindsey). Great grandmother of Chase, Cody, Roman, Porter, Emily, Leo, Hannah, Nathan, Luke, Lance, Nicholas, Maddie, Cole and Avery. Preceded in death by her parents, Valentine Zimmer and Elizabeth Kientz Zimmer and her siblings, Marie Z. Young, Valentine Zimmer and Rita Z. Arnoult. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans and since November 2006 she has resided at Our Lady of Wisdom Health Care. The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and staff of OLW, especially Kathy and Manita “Sophie” for taking such wonderful care of her.
