Anna V. Shigalkowski, age 87, of Hawley Ave., Milford, died on Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Golden Hill Health Care Center after a long illness. Miss Shigalkowski was born June 5, 1919 in Rudtchenkow Ukraine, to the late Vincent and Lydia Lehman Shigalkowski. She graduated in 1941 from the University of Kharkow, Ukraine with a PHD in Physics and Mathematics. She was employed as a actuary for NYC Employees Retirement System of New York until her retirement in 1984. Miss Shigalkowski is survived by her devoted sister-in-law Ann Marie Shigalkowski and loving nephews Peter and Michael Shigalkowski all of Milford. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Adam V. Shigalkowski.
