Anna M. Robinson, age 90 of Shannon, IL, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL. She was born January 2, 1924 in Mt. Carroll, IL; the daughter of the late Clarence and Addie (Knadler) Krueder.
She was a graduate of Ideal Country School. She married John Robinson on October 12, 1940 in Anamosa, IA; he died April 16, 1971.
Anna worked as a CNA at the Shannon Nursing Home for several years. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing. She loved gardening and spending time with all her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Dora Lessman of Shannon; son, Lyle (Patty) Robinson of Shannon, IL; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and sister, Mildred Joy of Sun City, CA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; siblings, John, Glenn, Bob, Vera Krueder, and Ethel Danbman; great grandson, Bradley Lessman; and son-in-law, Gerald Lessman.
