Anna M. (Applebee) Muir, 83, of Ottawa died August 5, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Anna was born on February 1, 1931 in Ottawa to Guy E. and Etta Mae (Fleetwood) Applebee. She married Alex Muir on March 24, 1954 at the Marseilles United Methodist Church. She worked as an Avon Representative, Owens in Streator, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Alex, of Ottawa; two brothers, Glenn (Janet) Applebee of Marseilles and Guy (Joy) Applebee of Quincy, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Alexander Muir, Jr. on June 18, 1987; and one sister, Beverly Jean Leathermann. Pallbearers will be Glenn Applebee, Sr., Guy Applebee, Michael Kinkin, Robert Kinkin, Glenn Applebee, Jr., and Trevor Jackson. Honorary pallbearer will be Cole Kinkin.
