Anna Yvonne (Chism) McCune, 81, of Moberly, passed away peacefully with her children by her side, Sunday afternoon, September 5, 2021, at Boone Hospital.

Ann was born January 28, 1940, in Higbee, Missouri.  She was the daughter of William Lester (Sam) and Daisy (Daniel) Chism.  Prior to her retirement, she was a 22-year employee as a Criminal Clerk for the Randolph County Court House, worked as a REPS for the State of Missouri, and enjoyed her part time job at the local YMCA.  She was also a long-time member of Carpenter Street Baptist Church, devoting a majority of her free time, both before and after retirement, to helping the church, running countless bible studies, and vacation bible schools.  In retirement, she enjoyed serving others, reading, traveling, quilting and spending time with family and friends.

She married Kenneth McCune on May 25, 1957, at Moberly.  He preceded her in death February 24, 2006.  Also preceding her in death were her parents, sister Mary Mallory, brother Dale Chism, and granddaughter Brianne (McCune) Klostermann.

Ann is survived by her children; Alan McCune and his wife Stacey of Moberly, Brian McCune and his wife Dana of Higbee, and Richelle Gairrett and her husband Geoff of North Carolina, one brother; Ellis Chism and his wife Margie of Moberly, grandchildren Lacey and Jason Henry, Jared and Brooke House, Cassie McCune, Matthew McCune and Maci Richards, MaKayla and Marvin Anderson, MaKenzie and Paschal Ammons, Shelby House, Layne Gairrett and Jaelyn Brown, Kenny Clem, great grandchildren; Madyson Klostermann, Amarriya Anderson, Kendyl Klostermann, Adrianna Gairrett, Helena Henry, and Adelyn House, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
