Anna Martelli, an Elmsford resident, passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born on October 4, 1931 in Naples, Italy to the late Theresa (Norturno) and Domenico Vizioli. On October 31, 1957 she married Emilio Martelli in Colodimezzo, Italy. Anna and Emilio immigrated to the United States on November 22, 1963. Anna worked as a highly skilled Electrical Assembler at numerous companies such as Micro Acoustics and Technicon Corporation. She retired from Technicon Corporation in 1991. Anna was known for being an excellent cook, her beautiful flower gardens and her homegrown vegetables. She was the type of woman you fell in love with the second you met her. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and a loyal friend. She was deeply cherished by her family and friends. Anna is survived by her husband, Emilio, son, Anthony (Diane) Martelli, daughter Silvana Daly and her brother, Giuseppe Vizioli. She was a loving and dedicated grandmother to her grandchildren; Michael (Kayleigh) Daly, Danielle Daly, Lauren Martelli and Dawn (Greg) Schwarzenegger and two beautiful great grandchildren John and Joe. Family meant everything to her. Anna will be sorely missed by all.
