Anna Marie Siladi, age 51 of Norwalk, died peacefully at home on May 3rd 2011 surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Anna was the daughter of Edilia and Michael Matteo.
Anna graduated from the Thomas School in 1977 and went on to earn her Associate’s Degree in nursing from Bridgeport University. For the last two decades she was a registered nurse at Surgical Associates of Westport, her second family.
Anna was strong, compassionate and very generous to all of her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and frequently brought meals to others who were ill. Although Anna was a lifelong Norwalk resident, she could often be found in Vermont or Nantucket relaxing with those closest to her.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Stephen. She is also survived by her daughter Krista, a law student at Villanova University School of Law and her son, Michael, a college student at St. Joseph’s University. Her children were the light of her life and she constantly spoke of the pride she had in them.
