Anna Marie Shaton, 95, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at St Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late George Shaton. Born in Palmerton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Teresa (Castiello) Garin. Anna and her husband George, owned and operated Purity Beverage for many years. She was the organist at Our Lady of Pompeii Church for more than 50 years. Anna was a pianist and enjoyed music. She was a great cook and was well known for her homemade pizza.
Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her son John J. Shaton (Kathleen Schroeder) and daughter Theresa C. Shaton all of Bethlehem; brother Joseph F. Garin of Bethlehem; granddaughter Katherine Shaton; great-grandson Michael John and many loving nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her brother Richard Garin who passed away on February 1.
