Anna Marie (Blount) Sargent died Saturday July 29, 2017 in Cape Fear Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC at the age of 73. Marie was born in Camden, NJ and was a resident of New Jersey before moving to North Carolina. She was a navy veteran who served her country honorably during the Vietnam War.
After her military service, Marie was employed by the army as a transportation secretary until her retirement. She was very active in her church. Wife of the late Carlton Sargent, Marie is survived by her sons Troy, Richard and Carlton, her six grandchildren, one great grandchild and her three brothers William, Jimmy and Ronald Blount.
