Anna Maria Fray, age 86, of Geneva passed away Tuesday December 20, 2011 at the Fair Oaks Rehabilitation Care Center in South Beloit, Illinois.
She was born July 23, 1925 in Roccamorice, Italy, the daughter of John and Rosalie (Denardo) DiMillo.
Mrs. Fray had worked many years as an administrative assistant at Fermilab in Batavia. She appreciated world history, loved opera, taught Bridge at the park district, and she enjoyed being around people– organizing many functions at Fermilab. Her greatest passion in life however, was taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three children Kathy Sullivan of Machesney Park, Patricia (Daniel) Gerhan of Minneapolis, MN, and William (Paula) of Geneva; five grandchildren Jean (Craig) Miller, Christine Sullivan, Mathew, Brian, and John Gerhan; and great grandchild Pearson Miller; and four siblings Frances Vumbuca and Barbara Ely both of Maine, Alberto (Martha) DiMillo, and John (Dolly) DiMillo both of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William O. Fray in 1976.
