Anna Mae Doherty formerly of NYC and Teaneck,NJ passed away very peacefully in Cocoa Beach, Fl. She was 89 years old and wished to be with her husband, Ernest “Doc” Doherty, of over 70 years in Heaven. He had passed away 2 months prior. Part of her childhood was spent growing up at St. Agatha’s Catholic Home for children in Nanuet, NY. Anna is survived by a large family including her sons Ernie of Cape Canaveral, Fl., Thomas and his wife Sharon of Deerfield Beach, Fl., Robert and his wife Ann of Teaneck, NJ, her daughters Elizabeth and her husband Mike of Hackensack, NJ, Frances of Cocoa Beach, Fl., Virginia and her husband Steven of Grand Junction, CO.
