Anna M. Smith, 90, of Centralia passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia, surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1925 in Centralia, daughter of Fred P. Easley and Irene G. (Atchison) Easley. She married Earl W. Smith on November 1, 1943 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2002.
She is survived by four children: Earlene Sue Smith of Centralia, Sharon Wessner and husband Dan of South Beloit, IL, Michael Smith of Centralia and Larry Smith of Centralia; a granddaughter, Jennifer Wessner of Los Angeles, CA; a niece, nephew, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson: Scott Wessner, and a brother: Bill Easley. Anna worked at the Hollywood Brands for 30 plus years.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, and nature. She always had a smile on her face. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
