Anna M. Howell, age 95, longtime resident of Milford and beloved wife to the late Melvin W. Howell, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Milford Health Care Center. Born on May 29, 1916 in Nanticoke, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Matilda Vollinger Tronsue. Anna was a devoted and caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family and friends, and times spent at her lake cottage in NY.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Timothy Rutherford and his wife Lynda of Milford, Patricia O’Donnell and her husband Roger of Stratford, Richard Rutherford and his wife Patricia and Ronald Rutherford and his wife Brenda all of Milford. Also her cherished great-grandchildren, Tyler Rutherford, Ryan, Andrew and Lydia O’Donnell, John, Carley, Justin and Brodie Rutherford. Also survived by her son-in-law David Rutherford of Bethany She was predeceased by a daughter Ruth Rutherford, her sister Florence Lewis and two brothers Eugene and Carl Tronsue
