Norwich- Anna M. Gencarelli, 92, of Norman Road, formerly of Palmer St., died Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center in Norwich. She was born in Norwich on November 20, 1920 daughter of the late Charles J. and Mary (Falcone) Gencarelli. Anna attended Bishop Elementary, Norwich Free Academy, Class of 1938 and Norwich Commercial School. She worked for Investors Diversified Service for 10 years and 30 years for Eastern Federal Bank, formerly Norwich Savings and Loan. Anna was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norwich.
Ms. Gencarelli is survived by a brother, Charles J. Gencarelli of Preston, two nephews Keith C. Gencarelli and Paul K. Gencarelli both of Preston, two grandnieces, Kristina M. Gencarelli of Norwich and Olivia C. Novak of Idaho, eight God Children, Jay Falcone, G. Randy Sposato, Stephen Chiangi, Mary J. Breck, Susan J. Orzechowski, Diana K. Lasch, Mary Ann Yeitz and Maria Gencarelli and many cousins including, Pauline G Galbreath.
