Anna Louise Shide, 90, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. Louise was born in Remington, IN on September 6, 1931, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Farrell) Shide.
Louise graduated from Rensselaer High School with the Class of 1949. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Ockermann for over seventeen years and in medical records and x-ray at Jasper County Hospital for twenty years.
Louise was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was also involved in the Christian Woman Bakery Group, and a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Food Pantry for 20 years.
Louise was very proud of her three hundred plus nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She loved her family and kept her relationships with them very close to her. She will be missed dearly.
Louise is survived by her sisters-in-law, Helen Shide of Rensselaer, IN and Nellie Shide; and many nieces and nephews.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Frances, Margaret, Mary, and Helen; and three brothers, John, Fred, and George.
