Anna Lee Walker Humphrey, 76, Anderson, died June 2, 2004 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness.
She was born December 9, 1927 in Burkesville, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in Anderson most of her life. She was a homemaker, but had also worked at Emge’s Meat Packing in the 1950’s. She was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Team, Pacers and the Indianapolis Colts. She loved cooking and enjoyed taking care of her indoor plants.
She is survived by her Husband whom she married May 3, 1946: George E. Humphrey. Four Children: Joyce Humphrey of Anderson. Marsha Humphrey of Anderson. David & wife Caryn Humphrey of Pendleton. Georgia Humphrey of Anderson. Two Sisters: Marie Carney of Anderson. Mary & husband Bob Preusz of Layton, Utah. Sister-in-law: May Humphrey Spall of Anderson. One Grandson: Evan Humphrey whom she adored. One Step Grandson: Dillon Smith. Nieces: Barbra Hoover of Anderson. Nancy & husband Robbie Wesoff of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nephew: Bob & Nancy Preusz of Fortville. Several Cousins. Thanks to all the St. John’s ER Staff for their care.
