Anna L. Nungesser, 88, of St. Jacob, IL, born Thursday, October 5, 1933 in Highland, IL and passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Alhambra, IL.
Anna attended church at St. Jacob united church of Christ, St. Jacob, IL. She worked many years at the Marine Garment Factory, Highland supply and Walmart, but most of all she was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, camping and her time spent with the Red Hat Ladies.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orville H. Nungesser whom she married October 19, 1951 at St. Jacob United Church of Christ and he passed away on May 18, 2002; her son, Steven Nungesser; a grandson, Derek Nungesser; and her parents, Milton and Rosina (nee Schuetz) Schiefer.
Surviving are children, Alan (Gayle) Nungesser of Troy, IL, Michael (Michelle) Nungesser of St. Jacob, IL, Patricia Nungesser of St. Jacob, IL and Debra Gebhart of Lebanon, IL; grandchildren, Megan Nungesser, Christopher, Katelyn and Crystal Gebhart, Jessica and Steven Nungesser; great-grandchildren, Danielle Overby, Randallynn, Eryk and Austin Nungesser and Bryson Sawyer; her sister, Rosalee (Jim) Lockeby of St. Jacob, IL; and her brothers, Richard (Gladys) Schiefer of St. Jacob, IL, Walter “Pete” Schiefer of St. Jacob, IL, and Robert Schiefer of Aviston, IL, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
