Anna L. Garren Anna L. Garren, 93, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 after a brief illness with her loving family by her side. Anna was born May 8, 1925 in Alton, MO, the daughter of Joe Little and Mary (Jackson) Little.

She married Stanton Dixon in 1944 and they later divorced. She married Stanley Garren in 1963 and he preceded her in death in 2010. Anna is survived by two daughters: Linda Stuber and husband Jerry of Centralia, and Dimples Irene Wheat of Odin; three grandchildren: Cheryl Crane and husband Daniel Hancock of Albany, NY, Steven Wheat of Odin, and Michael Wheat of Centralia; several nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her parents: Joe and Mary Little; husband: Stanley Garren; three sisters: Opal Deckard and husband Cecil, Edith Watson and husband Bill, and Rose Cooley and husband Henry; one brother: Clyde “Buster” Little and wife Hazel; son-in-law: Jack Wheat; several nieces and nephews.

Anna worked at the Dress Factory in Centralia for numerous years. She also worked for the KAS Potato Chip Factory for a few years. Anna enjoyed gardening, quilting and antiques. Anna and her husband Stanley enjoyed going mushroom and frog hunting in her younger years.

Anna was a member of the Boyd Christian Church and of the V.F.W. Auxillary Post 2055.
