Anna Jane Breland Osteen, age 91

Boca Raton, FL – Anna Jane Breland Osteen died on July 21, 2021. She was born on June 19, 1930, to Pelham and Lucile Evans. A lifetime resident of Okeechobee, FL she was a member of First United Methodist Church, Okeechobee Historical Society, Widows to Widowers, and Order of the Eastern Star. Anna played the organ and piano for her church and was well-known for her painting of the Southland Hotel. She was fondly known as the “Pickle Lady”, a reference to her passion for making pickles, jellies, and jams.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ardell Breland; her second husband, Barney Osteen Jr.; daughter, Dana Dell Siano; and son, Dale Breland.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Breland (Rosanne), of Boca Raton, FL; five grandchildren, Jason, Sean, Kayla, Eric, and Jacqueline; five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kylee, Sebastian, Matteo, and Dana; and brother, Paul Evans (Helene), of Jacksonville, FL.
