Anna Jane Boles, 90, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on March 7, 2019. She was born on May 5, 1928, in Westminster, Maryland, to the late Albert and Gloria Blizzard. Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Terrence D. Boles, and by her four sisters, Marie Tydings, Lillian Lentz, Ada White, and Sandra Elburn. She is survived by her three brothers, Albert Blizzard, Jr., William Blizzard and Kenneth Blizzard, and by her three children, Linda Lind, Barbara Rogers, and Timothy Boles. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jane was considered by all who met her to be gentle, kind and loving. She always had a smile on her face which would brighten your day. She was a member of Brooklyn United Methodist Church for many years, where she helped to feed the hungry on a weekly basis. Later, she became a member of Community United Methodist Church, in Pasadena, Maryland. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. In her spare time, Jane was an avid reader, enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, regularly watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, was an excellent cook and baker, and loved playing Scrabble, working on puzzles, and playing games with her family.
