Anna Eileen Franklin Simpson, 75, Anderson, has peacefully joined her beloved husband and mother in heaven. She passed away at home on October 14, 2006, at Residence after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born October 16, 1930, in Hartford City, Indiana She resided in Anderson most of her life.

She had been employed at Kroger, St. Johns Health System, an active TOPS leader, Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, and member of the Meadowbrook Elementary Home Economics Club. She was also a full-time homemaker, loving wife, and mother.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Darla and Ralph Graham of Anderson and Tina and James Osbon of Middleton; brother, Russell wife Judith Franklin of Anderson; sisters, Barbara Stroud of Anderson and Dorothy Boyd of Anderson; grandchildren, Amy husband Scott Coryell of Peru, Amber husband Wesley Owen of Anderson, David wife Angela Hepfer of Anderson, Stephanie husband Kent Hinshaw of Middletown, Brandon Osbon of Middletown and Cody Osbon of Middletown; several great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews and friends. She is also survived by her beloved cat Patches and best friends, Harry and Nancy Williamson of Anderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Gilbert Simpson; mother, Susie Harper; father, Russell Franklin, and stepfather, Harry Harper.
