Anna Catherine Cambron, 87, of Canon City, died March 23, 2013 in Canon City. She was born April 28, 1925 in Lafayette, Indiana to John V. and Nellie Catherine (Gunkle) Skeeters. Mrs. Cambron came to Colorado Springs with her family in May of 1933 and subsequently moved to Canon City in 1943. She graduated from Canon City High School in 1945. In 1951, Mrs. Cambron received her Associate in Arts Degree at Central College in McPherson, Kansas. After teaching school for one year in the McPherson area, she returned to college and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Greenville College in Illinois in 1954 majoring in Psychology and Education. She met her husband Robert (Bob) Cambron while she was teaching second grade in Minturn Colorado. She married Bob on June 30, 1956 in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Cambron was both a teacher and principal for elementary education in both Colorado and Kansas. She moved with her husband to Canon City in 1964.
