Anna B. (Urbanski) Egan of New Britain died on Thursday, September 18, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Egan. Born in New Britain, daughter of the late Adam and Alexandra (Zujko) Urbanski, she grew up there and lived in Newington for many years. Anna worked at Western Union, Allied Thermal Co. and retired from Tuttle & Baily. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church, the Newington Senior Center, where she served as Recording Secretary and the AARP. Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling and playing Bridge with the girls. Survivors include her three nieces: Judith DeAngelis of New Britain, Marilyn Passamano and her husband Russell of Northport, L.I., NY, Rebecca Bouchard and her husband Kenneth of New Britain, her nephew Leroy Urbanski and his wife Noelle of New Britain, niece-in-law Cathy Urban of The Villages, FL several grandnieces and grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Zigmund, Stanley and Edward Urbanski, Sophie and Pauline Urbanski, her nephew Arthur Robert Urban, close friend John Grohol, sister-in-law Alice Anderson Urbanski, nephew-in-law Salvatore DeAngelis.
